And so it begins...
Oh, first, Dave - people have searched your blog to find stuff on Spanky, I don't know how they found it, and even this site didn't pop up, but yours did.
Next, we are manning the following tables:
(1st) Bio Sci 1 KC
(2nd) Sub 13 KC and EdN 1 KD
(3rd) Sub 5 JJ and Tory 1 KK
(4th) Cab 7 CD and EdN 1 KK
(7th) Sub 4 (unknown, byt forum today!)
(8th) Cab 7 KD and Bio Sci 2 CK
- as for the initials, K is Kate or Kim, I got them mixed up, C is me, D is Dave, and J is Jess or Jay
Kate will list the buildings we need posters in, oh, here is what Dane has to say, and pay close attention to getting permission from building staff for ETLC to put up posters, whoever does that should check first. That's the only building with those rules:
Hi everyone,1. SUB Banners
You should have your banners ready on the 3rd floor of SUB by 7:30 on Monday morning in order for building staff to get them up in time.* Tape the edges of your banners to prevent them from fraying.* Make sure your banner's fireproofing reciept is showing.* Remember to fireproof the middle of the banner a bit (not just the edges) because facilities staff sometimes tests the middle as well.
2. Postering in General
You're free to poster wherever you'd like, but please BE RESPECTFUL:* don't go posting over top of pre-existing posters, including on bulletin boards. Taking down posters on bulletin boards to make room for your posters.* Putting posters on paint, glass, or any other surface that could be damaged.RESPECTFUL:* Moving posters around on a bulletin board if you need more room to post, so long as they are not moved on top of another poster or taken down altogether.* Getting posters approved by the ESS before posting in any engineering building.* Asking building staff if you are unsure whether you can post in a certain spot.* Forwarding building staff to the CRO if they say No, and you'd really like to put a banner there.* Using common sense.
I will have the handbills up soon and will get those printed, probably Monday since we won't need them until at least Tuesday.

1 Comments:
It isn't a big deal because we are not a 'real' candidate and we get to stretch the rules slightly, but if we were real it could be bad. I guess in a search your blog came up, because it was recorded as being viewed through the university server via some kinda SU tracker.
Sorry about the whole privacy issue, otherwise this is not that big a deal.
